Hey kids, long time no see.Here's a little something i doodled out on the plane flying home from moscow. i think the scanner kills the texture, and it looks much better on paper, so it will probably get moved to scraps soon.
if anyone has any suggestions about how to make scanned pencil drawings come out better, let me know.

With some indirect lighting you may be able to photograph and capture the texture.

Great job your doing. Like your style very much. That's the kind of fashion illustration that I appreciate. Most of all I love the poses of your artworks. Maybe you can say something to my gallery, too. Would like to hear your oppinion. Because I'm not at that point now, where I want to be at.... Need some constructive criticism to become better.

This is a really awesome drawing, very different in style for you tani. I love the shade of the glasses and the way the hair frames everything. And as a note to everybody out their, I can vouch that a whole shitload is lost in the scan. Frankly the pencil drawing is quite striking in person. And when i see this scan it's a little unnerving. It really jumped out at me on paper, it's very vivid and balanced and sharp. The scan makes it look sloppy and not as slick as it really is. tis a pity, i would suggest photographing it babe. That's what royo does!

I have the same problem with scanning pencil drawn pictures. I'm still trying to figure out how to solve it.
