My god thank you Im glad you like I just thought Scar's scar might have had somthing to do with mufasa seeing as they dont like each other much, but thats the thing no one knows how he got it LOL THANK YOU!!!

Thats what I love about Scar so much, is that we dont know alot about him really and how that hate appeared inside. I use the word misunderstood alot and that what I would call Scar and all my Oc's like Sadis, Si, Siren and Shada, they are all misunderstood.
Anyway the pleasure putting in lionlover I sure that without people like you, with your surport there would be no people like me

Hi Jas ; here are some links you might like to check out! A couple of them are fan-made YouTube videos made about Scar; while the others may explain a little of his background/character. When Broadway director, Julie Taymor, was asked to bring The Lion King to life on stage, she believed that at least some of Scar's character reflected a mental illness. And, while we don't know the full story; I do believe that this may be the case.

Thanks for the links Tracy. I love the videos I agree about Scar maybe having a mental illness, it make sense

Yes; it DOES make more sense, that Scar might have been ill. No one in their right mind would do what he did: Try to kill certain members of his own family; then blame any surviving victims (in his case, a small, grief-stricken child) for his crime/s. Even the man who plotted the terrorist attacks in Norway has an illness! But that's another story..

Here is another link you may be interested in. Fan-fiction authors John Burkitt and Dave Morris have written quite a selection of Lion King fan-fiction; describing their own view/s of what may have happened, in a series of prequels to the Disney masterpiece. These were written prior to the release of The Lion King II: Simba's Pride; so some of the details differ slightly from Disney's point of view. (As we all know, Simba's heir is a daughter; according to Disney.) You can find Messrs Burkitt and Morris' fan-fictions at this link: [link] A quick word of warning, though -- the mens' stories are chunky-novel-length, apiece! But well worth reading, all the same.
