**I've had a backlog of commissions on my list for awhile now-- if you haven't heard from me, check back in, make sure yours didn't get lost in the shuffle. In the meantime, here's a few to share!
Hercules by Jeremy Dale
I can't lie: I've ALWAYS loved Marvel's Hercules. In fact, as a kid I was really disheartened that the other renditions of Herc weren't as interesting as the big M's version-- from the horrible, cheeseball, translated-poorly films to the Kevin Sorbo television series (which was alright, but not MY Hercules, y'know?) and even the styled, good-but-not-brilliant Disney movie, none of them captured the character like Marvel.
Loud, a braggart, often getting into classic Marvel scrapes for any number of misunderstandings (though mostly due to pride, booze, or wenches)... Hercules is awesome. He's not the man I want to be when I have to grow up, but he's a guy I'd love to sit back and knock back a drink with. A man's man, and one that's hard to find these days. Not MY template for heroism, but certainly one I'd hate to see go away forever.
Bring on another round and spin us a tale, Herc! What what that about the Hydra again? On the moon? With a hatchet?

Yes, she is. This one is for a friend , whose love for Captain America (check out the other girl there for a surprise) and Hydra, among others.

And the stripes on her ribcage. A little nod to the Captain of Americas.
Bob is also drawn in the background, and the two girls are the two female leads from my creator-owned series TRUST, which Bob is probably the only person who'd know what that was. hehe

This is a great piece I might tackle the inking of this I'm working on my first ever one at the moment I'll let you know when I do it I'll be putting it up as a WIP while working on it

By the way, I think your journal titled "deviantart vs inkers" is frightening. How can a site that promotes art and brings people together, be so blind to something as straightforward as an inking collaboration! It's a total farce! I know I'm not a professional, I've only attempted inking for first time ever this week, but it's just absolute madness.

When I was a kid I enjoyed the series where he was in space with that recorder robot. I think it was reprints and used as a back up strip in I think it was Marvel's UK Transformers comic.

I'm also convinced I was painted/photomanipped as Herc onto a Marvel cover awhile back. I could pull off Herc (albeit thicker and less chiseled) in cosplay, I think...

Aw man! I've never been to anything besides Wizard World Chicago. But I think that I'll be at C2E2 next year!

HIT C2E2-- it's really easy to access even by train, as the train stops AT the convention center. It's a great show!
And no problem! That's just how I try to present myself. I'd feel bad not giving more to those that have had to wait.

Yeah, my buddy Ed went this year and he loved it. He also went to Wizard World and left after like two hours. So I'm reaaaaaallly thinking I'll be there in 2011.

C2E2 had some of the best management of a show I've ever seen, and I've done tons of shows, as you know. If the fans start realizing that and showing up as strong as they should, C2E2 will be a force to be reckoned with!
