...Or maybe he's satisfied, serious, or slightly smirking? Well whatever the case, it's another screenshot from you-know-what, and again I'm using transparency to selectively "color" his eyes and dog-tag through a B&W image. Didn't have to do very much "fiddling" with settings on this one, probably because there was so much light in this scene, but I did tweak a few things slightly for effect. Wow, I took some screenshots from this scene like only a few days ago. Was almost heartbreaking to see his face change during his argument with Mittens.
In this scene, it looks like he is about to defend himself but he can't quite think of anything to say. Really, I know that Mittens has had a really tragic past, but I can't help feeling sorry for Bolt as well. Really, the only thing keeping him going is the hope that Penny's love for wasn't fake like everything else in his life, and Mittens seems to be doing her best to take also that hope away from him.

Wow, what a coincidence! But yea, powerful scene for sure, and you're right about Bolt having to have been hurt by all this too. Which makes it even sadder when you see him with "bags" under his eyes, even as he's sitting on the couch being pulled by the Ford pickup. "

Yeah, the trust that Penny's love for him was at least one thing in his life which was true and real is the one thing giving him strength to go on. At the same time, you can see when he looks over his shoulder that he doesn't want to leave Mittens behind. And of course, when he sees Penny with the other dog, he feels like he has lost everything.

Truly sadness indeed! :'-( But, at least WE have the comfort of knowing that it all works out in the end for him, right?

I know, I just didn't really know what else to call it at the time. Besides, it's one of those pictures that can be left up to the interpretation of the viewer, rather than being obviously funny or sad. Every time I look at it, I'll see it a little differently; kind of like my "Bolt becomes... Emolt!" picture. I suppose I like pictures like these since you can sort of see it however you like, depending on what you're thinking or feeling at the time.

Yep, and you know how it is; when inspiration strikes, you've really gotta go for it right away, before you lose interest or the line of creative thought. That is, as long as it doesn't interfere with school, work, or other duties... ^_^

Yeah, I'm JF's friend IRL. As long as I've known him, he's never lied to me, plus he's full time college student and he hasn't had a free weekend in several months. An hour of free time is like a miracle for him. It's kinda sad sometimes... <.<
