Sorry if the image is in bad quality. I posted an older version on reddit but I slightly fixed some parts of the map today.

Lore: The general POD here is that the West Coast of North America has much "better" geography than in our own timeline (more varied coastline and, of course, a large river that benefits the region) and has an independent California (got its independence from Mexico in 1831). The "North-South cultural divide" spoken in this page is mainly based off language and geography. California's North is much more forested and the population speaks English on a daily basis. While the South is more dryer and is mostly Spanish speaking. Also large chunks of the South were annexed during the Mexican-Californian War in the 1870s, ironic considering they were both allies in the Mexican-American War. Today California is a rich nation (9th largest in fact!). Known for its diverse culture and history. Currently its benefitting itself after recently joining the North American Alliance (NAA).
