While the fey are known to be incredibly isolationist, it did not mean they are not up to date with the current affairs of the world. Zephyros had been carefully observing the world ever since he was old enough to start shooting a bow, though his preferred weapons are the spears he carries with him. Unlike the typical fey, Zephyros is more willing to accept help from the other races, though he does have the typical elf snootiness (ironically against the high elves, which the fey have a lingering grudge against). Despite being young by fey standards (357 years old), Zephyros was appointed the leader of a host sent out to locate and collect the resource needed to revitalize the great tree in the forest: amber.

Zephyros serves as a balance between the more conservative fey mindset to the curiosity of his second-in-command, Tiffa. While he is eager to learn and interact with the outside world, his beliefs remain rooted, with his main priority being to seek out and collect the amber needed.

Fun trivia: Zephyros actually does not like the cape he wears, but as a symbol of authority, he has to keep it on.
