Somebody told me that Maria's design looked a little too similar to a certain other character after a critique session. I re-looked at it, and it turns out she was right. I admit that character design was a favorite of mine, but I realized that I need to change her outfit, even just a bit.

The easiest I could do was to just add a new jacket over the original outfit (if you ask about color, it's blue, by the way). Most of the design remains unchanged, since I intended Maria as sort of a throwback to that character design I told you guys about. As I said, I prefer long skirts, so that remains. If you want to draw a miniskirt for this, go ahead and be my guest.
