zzz.....Not too much to say here, just the drawing for my upcoming ID ...
Done in non-photo blue pencil (sketch) and Faber Casttle 2H pencil (for the clean). No lightbox. Direct drawing.

Nunca he conseguido un Non-Photo Blue que no escanee. Todos los que he comprado se ven, y es un culo sacarlos en PShop. jajaja, por eso no los uso desde hace tiempo.
2H, ugh. De veras eres otra raza XD como le haces para bregar con ese lΓ‘piz. Yo lo encuentro que no escribe sobre el azul (es como "waxy". Como ke resbala sobre la cera del azul)
Aunque ahora que lo pienso, tal vez es que todos mis materiales artisticos son senda mierda! 0_o

bueeeeeeno, a ver q explico.
el non-photo blue es de PRISMACOLOR (perdon por la publicidad descarada, pero es q las marcas caras son las buenas) y vale unos 30 centimos de dolar cada uno, creo recordar.
el 2H de faber-casttle.
El azul son meras rallas, no esta bien perfilado. El limpio se hace despacito y con buena letra, atendiendo bien a la linea, preocupandose de llenarla bien y de que nos kede bonita bonita ^_^
el papel no es nada del otro mundo, pero es lo mas importante: sobre un papel malo, todo esto no sirve para nada.
Uso papeles caros para trabajo, pero para cosas como estas, uso papel de 90gramos para impresion, el de oficina.
Se llama Ultrablanco y hay varios gramajes.
Yo uso Epson (tambien otras marcas, pero son locales y no las tendras en PR)

Si, una vez comprΓ© el de Prismacolor, pero still, me pareciΓ³ "waxy". Como que cuando uno le pasa tinta por encima, la tinta no corrΓa bien.

Prismacolor es la mejor marca en realidad. Es mi favorita y me alegra en cierta manera que se comieran a Spectracolor.
FΓjate, lo unico que nunca he tratado es lo del papel! Siempre dibujo en el papel que sea. Aunque he hecho una que otra obra reciente en bristol.(reciente me refiero a ...una aΓ±o atrΓ‘s XD)
Deja ver si compro mejor papel y luego te enseΓ±o que me invento ^_^

hahaha weno, es q la tinta SI se corre sobre el azul, eso es un grave problema, a ver si lo arreglan en un futuro.
Con lapiz funciona bien.

OK i am gonna show off how little i understand spanish here, but from what i can gather, yes the more you spend on most materials the better the quality. And i agree, prismacolour is one of the best out there.
However, getting rid of the bluelines in PS is quite easy. When you scan the pencils it goes into RGB, so all you do is delete the two first channels (and it should leave you only with the yellow one). Then you press CTRL+L for the levels and you get rid of any grey lines still in there. Change it to grayscale and you are sweet! LOL
I have no idea if you really wanted to know that but there you go!

well I just scan it directly in greyscale, and trust me the blue almost disapear.
The small spots that could be still there are easily removed by painting with white brush.
That simple.
The level things is not that simple when the clean is pencil and not inks, because pencils has many medium tones and that makes it all a bit more "interesting"

non- photo blue is a pencil that doesn't apear in the scaner, because it is a light tone, and dunno why, scaners gets really bad blue tones.

well , it is non photo blue, it is suposed to disapear in scanner.
I scan in greyscale, and add the levels in PS later.
