Description
I used to spend some weekends at the house of one of my grandparents when I was a child. I remember that at night, if I wanted to go to the bathroom, I had to cross this really narrow and creepy hall all the way to the last door. My grandparents always loved to have a lot of furniture and decoration which scared me twice at night (I used to be scared of plenty porcelain dolls the most). I remember the only sound I'd hear was my footsteps and the clock ticking (one of those that make noise each hour). Overall, I would reaaaally try not to cross that hall at night because it frightened me so much. It still makes me a bit uneasy when I got there now.
Because of this, I had this nightmare several times (even more recently) when I had to cross this hall at night while raining outside, where I'd know something would be waiting for me at the end, even though the corridor seemed to never end, no matter how much I'd run.

I really liked this challenge , even though it still gives me creeps thinking about it xD I had to draw everything without a reference because I couldn't go to my grandparents house in the meantime. I guess it's still quite present in my head anyway so I feel like this is accurate with my nightmares and their house.
This was extra tricky too because I really like to draw these landscape traditionally (even though it's harder at the same time for me) xD coloring digitally was fun though.
