Chronicles was pretty interesting, wasn't it? Looking past that game's flaws, I found it a pretty surprising move for them to make an RPG for Sonic, and I found it pretty enjoyable. It's too bad the sequel has yet to happen at all.

It was! It did have its flaws (especially music why ;o; some tracks were good but ngh o.o'), but as an avid RPG gamer, I was pleasantly surprised to see an official Sonic RPG and very much enjoyed it~ But yeah, pretty much confirmed no sequel, so aghhh. T~T Maybe that can be fixed in fanfiction at least...I'm not tempted or anything what're you talking about >w>'' XD

Yeah, that soundtrack... Maybe it's just because it's been a really long time since I've played the game (definitely 5+ years), but the only theme I really remember and come back to listen to is the final round with Ix. Even then, I wish it had better sound quality. I wasn't a big fan of the graphics, either.
I liked the gameplay, from what I remember the battles were fluid and fast-paced, which I love to see in RPGs (because I'm so used to Pokémon, which I admit isn't very engaging by comparison). But I've also heard some very strong and valid complaints about the POW Moves, and I do think they could've taken cues from Mario & Luigi and used buttons for the QTEs instead.
Personally I think the mythos/story was its strongest point, and that just makes me so much sadder about the lack of a sequel. I've never been extremely into Sonic, but it still really interested me how they made such an effort to make the Gizoids relevant again.

Hmm...not super big on Sonic Yuri (not against it, just haven't seen a lot that clicked), but I have seen some cute CreamXCosmo and BlazeXAmy pics out there. And some takes on ships with Tails where he's a girl instead; was kinda sweet actually. XD Again, not big enough on the ships to post ship stamps of 'em on my page or anything, but there's nice work out there for them~ Had a couple people suggest RougeXKit as a crack yuri ship since Rouge is a thief like Manic...I don't ship it at all but I LOL'd XDDD YuriManicXKitTho
