A little warm-up before I do my 'main stamp of the day.' Have an awesome Renamon stamp to kick off the new year! The art isn't mine - it's from an Alpha Evolve card.

Normally we don't accept original artwork in our groups gallery but I will add them, I don't see a problem with them if they are only stamps and you give credit to the original artist / Bandai in this case.

I've learned the hard way that disclaimers are essential for even the tiniest things! Thank you kindly for accepting them; this'll probably be all that I'll submit for a while, as I'm more a writer than an artist, and stamps come out of my Mac like a litter of rabbits.

Actually, they didn't. That's a dub thing only. Originally, it was "Fox Leaf Arrowhead," but HEAVEN FORBID that the kiddies learn about the abilities of youkai.

That is NO excuse. If you look through oriental mythology, foxes (INCLUDING the nine-tails) are predominantly female (unusual for canids). For example, the famous onmyouji Abe no Seimei was said to have been fathered by a fox-wife, and in Korea, almost all kumiho are female nowadays. One of the most famous Chinese foxes (juli jing), Daji, took control of a female body. In both Korea and China, associating a woman with a fox has very negative connotations, but men are almost never linked.
As per Wikipedia...
"Foxes are particularly renowned for impersonating beautiful women. Common belief in medieval Japan was that any woman encountered alone, especially at dusk or night, could be a fox.[18]" The entry on kitsune also mentions that females are, 99.9% of the time, the victims of vulpine possession. Even their main deity, Inari, can be depicted as a woman.
I gotta ask: What argument are people using to the contrary?

people were arguing about fox'es should be male or female , so i butt in and said most fox's i saw were female , but someone said no that's not true coz in the anime "naruto" the demon fox is a guy not a female , hmm i forgot the next part Dx

Never use only one series for an argument. That's a bad practice on a number of levels.
