Description
This abandoned farm, Ohio, sits on a plot of land — far from the road in which it's connected to, might I add — that was once home to a number of sheep (or hogs, according to other stories). Now it's overgrown with bushes and weeds and only accessible by walking through thigh-high grass (seriously) and poison ivy (in which I got after visiting the farm). I went with my best friend, ~acousticnocturne after hearing about it from another friend (who had some bad experiences both times she visited), and later, we visited our favorite schoolhouse, Van Wagener schoolhouse, just down the road.

Here is a sheep skull outside of one of the stalls on the right side of the farm. I had to hop the crumbling concrete wall (because the gate that leads to each stall was covered by a couple bushes) to get to the skull. I'm thankful that my Nikon D5000 has a swivel-LCD screen so I was able to snap this photo at ground-level without lying on the ground. I'm rather proud of this shot; right after I took it, I showed Domni, and we both agreed that it was a pretty good capture.
