OMFG I am dead...Monthly challenge because this is literally what spring in the UK looks like ^^^^ Endurance training in the rain!
I busted my foot so here I am trying to amuse myself.

Part one of the " Road to the Olympics" storyline

Story
Part 1

Squeezing his calves against the roan stallions sides Jay pushed Killian into a long extended canter through the forest, holding him at the verge of gallop he could feel each muscle within the beast below him's bodywork, with each stride they powered across the long grass that carpeted the forest floor. Softening his fingers Jay chuckled as Killian stretched his neck out to balance himself as he broke into gallop.

Jay loved his mornings like this, he was always the first awake, the rest of the main team, despite the majorities military background where sluggish and uncooperative when it came to getting out of bed. So it was often just him, he would take Eydis out first, down to the far paddocks to check on and feed the yearling and wild herds before using the dun mare to herd the grass kept horses that were required on the yard up to the holding paddock. Once he had finished the semi-retired mare was turned out with the other horses while Jay returned to the house to make sure the team had gotten up, which was often met with mixed outcomes, usually, Scarlett and Taylor had gathered in the kitchen, clad in fluffy pyjamas with coffee mugs. When the German branch stayed over it would be Alexander & Tali who would appear next fully dressed and quickly set to work making breakfast for everyone. Max had developed the ability to just appear amongst the chaos usually in just his boxers and not caring in the slightest about it.
The kitchen would be mad by the time Jay walked in, with between 5 & 12 team members eating, chatting(whining) and going bout their morning routine with the addition of the multiple cats, dogs and Max's ferret running around stealing whoever's breakfast was within reach.
Arianna was the last to rise, often sleeping in until Jayson had to physically evict her from the bed, or more often evict her from his bed that she had snuck into sometime between him getting up and him returning to change into his everyday attire.

The Irish flag hung proudly on the crimson coloured walls of Jayson's bedroom, below it collection of medals trophies and ribbons adorned his dresser. Pulling the thick waterproof coat off of his shoulders he hung it over the radiator to dry off in one swift rehearsed movement.
Leaving the small en suit bathroom the man strode across the cream coloured carpets towards the wardrobe --
