Powerful image.
I thought all trainrails that led to concentration camps were broken and 'hoist' ups so that no train can ever ride on. Anyways, thats what you see here in holland.

this is Birkenau...not Auschwitz
But people do this mistake quite often, I've got some photos from there in my gallery too. Went there last year, amazing experience.

i went the last Christmas, and we visited Auschwitz and Birkenau... but i'm not sure about the names. But i think that they told us that one is Auschwitz I and the other Auschwitz II...

yeah, it's really worth seeing.
Birkenau is where all the ruins were, this big field with chimneys and the railyard. Auschwitz is where the "arbeit macht frei" gate is.
