Description This was a project i did for school. The idea was to take a mechanical object and transform it into an organic one (or vice versa). This is based off of a three headed lamp I have that sits on my nightstand. I actually used this in my final project for that year, which was to write a mock up for a childrens story. Mine was title the Knight of the Nightstand. If you notice in the background theres a tipped over piggy bank with claw marks on it. How else do you think he got those coins?

Made mostly with Ink and some acryllic paint.

I'd love to read this story for real, the title rings perfectly for a children's book. The Knight of the Nightstand - very sweet pun and totally believable as a title! For some reason, I immediately imagine it to be about some kid stuck in bed with a cold, inventing stories about his favourite toy knight figurine to keep boredom away, and using the objects on his bedstand as all the other characters...

The dragon design and setting are genius and creative, the piggy bank victim and the coin savings hoard are great details too!

what a briliant idea! For a pencile drawing you have really broght this dragon to life. all of your artwork has such a neat other worldly flair to it. but i think one of my favorite things is how you did the wood on the desk it looks real. you did a splendid jod!

Actually this is ink and some acryllic paint. I love the wood too, that and the poor gutted piggy bank off to the side. Thank you!

Where to start... love the wood texture you gave the table/desk, the detail overall is amazing as is the shading. Marveling at the dragon's head and the open maw. Well done piece ^^

This is super cool! The concept is great, a wonderful project idea. I'm assuming you didn't use a reference directly for this, and it's outstanding.
