Southern Colonial style lathe and plaster construction (I am guessing), probably built before the Civil War but probably even older than that. The front porch was either added much later, or it was rebuilt later.
Just guessing based on my knowledge of period architectural styles and the region it is in.

You may be right. It is in a very rural part of Tennessee and there are houses there that I know for sure are Civil War era. I own and live in my late Grandparents house, and even though it has been remodeled many times over the years the core of the house was built in 1890.

Yeah. That porch is kind of Georgian revival. The original porch was probably a single slope shed roof.
I bet that house could be renovated, though. Looks like whoever lived in it before had a new metal roof installed at some point. The inside is probably pretty well-protected from the elements, still
