Description
This is an old school building in the Big Bottom area of Jackson County Tennessee. It was built by The WPA program in the 1930's. These rural schools were used for many years until larger more centralized schools were built. Some were re-purposed as community centers and other such uses. Unfortunately this one is in a very rural area and has been left to deteriorate.Related content

Thanks! I doubt it could be moved. It is miles up a narrow road that in places borders the Cumberland River. The road drops off into the river on one side and has a bluff on the other.
