All preview pages i showed to friends or other forums over the years.And now collected for deviantart.
I should be ashamed.
I have not worked on my grafic novel since February. 10 months.
I lost my faith, because so many people laughed about the organic style and unrealistic setting... I'm to sensitive in this case.
I will continue next year.

I'm not just saying this to boost your confidence, but you have one of the coolest art styles I've ever seen. Everything is so loopy, organic, and fun. Your characters are always great, but wow, your environments just blow me away. They have just as much personality as your whacky characer drawings.
Color me impressed, and please don't let what others say get you down. Continue this comic!

Well I think it's good. Even the first two panels, pencil then ink, seems to help it to a fade-in.
Not everyone would use Pflatsch! instead of Smack!

Let e'm laugh...I have received unnecessary cruelty by the small-minded too when it comes to art...My english teache rin High school once saw me drawing, and he went ballistic and rippe dup the paper and threw it in the bin...I admit I should have been doing my work, but he shouldn't have reacted like THAT (plus none of the others kids were doing theirs...this teacher's lessons were a total bludge lol)

People aren't used to a style that's so fluid and quirky-- I mean, look at our comics and cartoons: They're all so LINEAR. Which is FINE, don't get me wrong, but people just aren't used to organic shapes. But trust me here, you've got a great style and people will come to love it. HAVE FAIIIITHHHH.

I should have known that your lively brush strokes would translate (very VERY) well into comic-form. It upsets me that you'd be discouraged from working on this. It'd be a shame to keep this off the shelves, man!

I know I'm basically echoing other commenters, but only because it's true: Ignore the naysayers, and get back to work on it ASAP. If you put it off, that's just more time to whine and brood and talk yourself out of it.
And as you can see, your unreal style does have fans.

who in their right mind wouldn't enjoy this style? It's fun to look at and overflowing with vitality- last time I checked that's what a cartoon was supposed to be. The world needs people like you to keep contemporary cartoons from becoming on big Simpsons/anime hybrid

Ugh, don't give up! First, you can't help what style looks good to you in the first place so theres no point to try to repress it... second these pages look great! Maybe if they looked crappy that'd be a reason to like, not continue, but I'd personally love to see more from your project since you've posted so many other arts about it. If anything it is your responsibility to get your work out there so more people can see that an organic style is just as interesting to look at as the current popular anime/ super block/ pointy whatever styles.

If it (the story) was supposed to be comical, then I guess it should be a good thing..
But don't give up on it because of that.

here in the states most folks would commend you for being traditional cause most ain't that good. Except the executives though, they would water you down, and tear you up until you can get you own studio or something like that. Keep doing what your doing, I mean, as long as you continue to learn as well. and if those jerks try to change you remember, "I'll be there."
