A half man half alligator concept. This was inspired by a 'real' half alligator man, named Jake, who lives in the Marsh's Free Museum in Long Beach, Washington. Head's up for this link - he's pretty hideous, so if you are squeamish about dead stuff then you might not want to click >_0

Anyway I thought I'd make a more attractive version, for fun, really. Using watercolor and ink, I imagine this chap dwells in swamps and marsh's in New Orleans. He is curious about human women, but keeps himself low in the water - they might mistake him for a man from a distance, but he would hate for them to see his tail. Whatsmore, he's been known to eat the odd swimmer or two...
