An idea I got last week and finished today.The Disney princesses (they are children, NOT chibis) are having a little tea party!
Tiana is the hostess, giving Aurora some more milk, while Cindy is chatting. Jass is being a proper lady and Belle is hiding under the table with a book (I imagine little Belle running and climbing all the time that’s why her knees are bleeding). Ariel is under the table too with all the silver wear and a cookie (bet there are no cookies under water) and Snow is a good friend telling that she has dirt on her cheek (I like that word).

It's odd, actually. I love the way Ariel is animated... but I find her character oddly off-putting. Even as a teenager, I found her selfish and self-obsessed. I mean, she ruins a concert that must've been months in the making because she... forgot?
I'm a much bigger fan of Belle, Jane Porter, Lilo, Mulan... almost everyone but Ariel. The only other princess lower than Ariel for me is Aurora. Because she does not much at all but sing... and fall asleep.
But, as I said, Ariel is beautifully animated. And she inspires some pretty awesome fan art. Must be that bright red hair.

This is so fascinating! I never realized it when I was a kid (I just saw red awesome hair), but now I can see what a brat (sorry Ariel fans) she really is. And for an other matter, she dosen't develop, like, at all. She is spoiled and irresponsible in the begining and therefore puts herself in greate personal risk for a hansome stranger (in the original story, which is wonderful btw, she atleast yearned for a soul and then later come to love the prince) and how dose the movie end? She gets the man without having to learn what so ever! But nobody dosent seem to realize this because she is so wonderfully drawn (just look at that hair move!! O_O)
PS: No wonder that Aurora is boring, she only has 18 minutes of screen time.

I see we agree on Ariel. Because you're spot-on. There's never even a scene in which she acknowledges that she's put her father's kingdom in peril. Her real concern--as far as I can see--is that Ursula is attacking Eric.
And you counted Aurora's minutes? xD And how many of those 18 mins are her just walking up to the spindle? Which is not to say 'Sleeping Beauty' isn't gorgeously animated. But its princess is a non-entity.

There is the tiiiny line where she cries "Father, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to!", but it dosen't make any difference. She is not two dimensional, no pun intended, there is just no development. And she really isn't a good role model. -_-
I read it somewhere, I dont have the time for that (but I did once count all the full moons in all of the Disney movies). XD It really feels that the fairys are the stars of the movie and Aurora and Philip just minor characters. ^_^

So Belle and Ariel have always been my favorite princesses (before Tiana of course) and it is so fitting for them to be under the table dividing the forks and spoons amongst themselves trying to see if they talk ...(well in Belle's case). Very well done and soo cute!!!
