Ahh, I remember this was how I found you in the first place... _x years later and I've finally faved it.
I still can't quite describe how such a simple setup moves me, other than to say it evokes the same sense of magic and wonder I'd get reading kids' books. Maybe it's not a coincidence it also calls to mind first contact on an alien world: a diving bell is a lot like a space helmet, and we know more about space than our own oceans.

Thanks, it was done almost entirely in Corel Painter 12, which is my preferred program for linework and brush texture.
