Taken by A.G.Vask at NYCC 2012This cosplay took me about a month and a half to do but I took several breaks and hiatuses in the project due to my obligations at home and at school. I started in fall of 2011 and never officially finished until the morning of NYCC 2012
Basically an entire year later.
The tunic is made of a shimmering fabric that is white in light and blue when light isnt hitting the folds.
The armor is made of craftfoam.
The sword is made of Insulation foam wood fiberglass and chameleon paint. It changes color as I move however the flash seems to only show the blue silver colors than the purple and green. I'll upload more pictures soon enough with the other swords tones.

when the photographer asked me to pose like that I was like hmm.. It does sound like a cool idea.
but when I saw it on his camera's screen I just started freaking out and thanking him xD I was really excited about it.

Yes! they're white screen contacts, close up it looks like the eyes of a bug due to all the tiny holes. Its like seeing through a heavy fog. You can't read fine print or see tiny details. You can't see anything clearly that's farther than 20 feet. If a light source is facing you directly you get a huge white glare. So if someone snaps flash and you see it directly into the camera you're kinda blinded for a second or two. xD But then again from far away they can't see your pupils so you can avoid looking at a camera and avoid the blindness.
