after having taught many female celebrities the secret of human flight, taylor swift had been dabbling with the idea of creating a gathering place for people who can fly. she's been secretive about the idea for some time, but finally started talking about her idea to people when she attended the vertical energy conference recently. she confirmed with other attendees that she was opening a bar, and the gimmick was this: downstairs was a more standard lounge which was open to the public, meaning men and non-flying women. upstairs, however, was a private VIP lounge exclusively for women with the ability to use vertical energy, and high ceilings to allow for patrons to fly around the room, or even just float like a balloon if they wanted. taylor was calling it the skypad lounge.

the grand opening of the club was a resounding success even despite the very exclusive nature of the main club. the first night, although it looked quite barren in the seats, the place was packed with famous ladies (many part of taylor swift's squad, who helped spread the word) flying around the room just having a great time.
