Ok so we've gotten mixed reviews on this- mostly because people are split on just what Aang should be. We made him Pikachu(as opposed to a wind-type, like, say.. Pidgey) for a few reasons. Justine's reason was that Pidgey sucks, and mine was that he's the Avatar- he can be whatever he wants. And I mean really, are we going to make Azula Pikuchu?? I don't think so.
Also cause he's upbeat and spunky, and the star of the show. There's that.
Be on the lookout for more- we got a few of these figured out, cause we're so clever

Pidgy would've been cute I think, but you're right there's no way Azula could be Pikachu. Maybe Raichu, but it would be hilarious to see her as Voltorb or somethign

This is kinda cool, but yeah, pidgey was the first thing that came to mind when I thought of an appropriate pokemon for Aang's element. If we're going simply with role (based on your spunky star of the show argument) then Zuko should either be psyduck or charizard since he's stubborn and doesn't listen. Charmander was very friendly and easy to get along with. Still, throwing elemental accuracy out the window, this is a cute picture from purely an artistic point of view. Good work.
