Masculine faces tend to be more square with harder lines. If a standard head is egg shaped, a masculine head tends to be more rectangular, with it being wider for generally more muscular men (like wrestlers). A lot of times you're going to want to use nearly straight lines instead of the soft curves that are usually found in women and children's faces. I guess the general rule is wider and using squares and rectangles. Use less curves and more straight lines. It's sort of hard for me to explain, I'm sorry. But try studying pictures of face shots between muscular men, average or skinny sized men, and women next to each other, pick out the differences, and draw those differences next to each other. (for example, put a face shot of Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, and Natalie Portman next to each other).
