Thanks! ^ ^
Perhaps Carmelite, though I'm not exactly certain by any means. I just know that I'd like to become a cloistered nun.

I know someone who is one too, I think they have meetings at our parich. Unfortunetly though, I'mm too young to join, I have to be at least 18.

So pretty! I love the background and her flowy outfit and expressive pose! One thing I might say could be better, since her hair and clothes are blowing to the left (our left, her right) I might have put her farther to the right, to make her look centered. But then, you might have done this on purpose, to give a stronger sense of the wind pushing her.

The art nouveau turned out very well, methinks - and the shapes and details are spectacular! She looks very pretty too, although it looks to me as if her lower body turned out a little too small, compared to the shoulders and head.
Perhaps you'll be able to write your book even as a nun? I don't know how strict exactly your order will be about "private" work, but I know of several nuns who have written both fictional and scholarly texts. As long as it isn't blasphemous (which, knowing you, I cannot imagine) I don't think there'll be a problem to find some time for writing.

I can see the art nouveau influence, and I think it's beautiful.
You might be able to juggle a religious life with writing a story. That may be one of the things you talk about with your superiors. I'm sure that if it contributes to The Cause, they will be supportive.
What order are you looking at? Perhaps you should get an Associates' degree before you enter the novitiate, just in case. If you or God decides it's not what you want, you'll have a bit of preperation and a means to suport yourself.

Honestly, I'm kind of indifferent to the whole other-people-stealing-my stuff. Yeah, I think I'd be really miffed, but hey, it's on their conscience, and if you're actually making a story, you might be able to sue them. Or call them out. I think it's more of the thief's problem than mine. Besides, if nothing else, I know that it's my story.

Beautiful. As always your fonts (calligraphy?) are amazing.
I'll remember to keep you and your vocation in my prayers. What order are you thinking of joining? The Carmelites?
In Christ,
Marian

A friend of mine entered the carmelites a couple of years back. She loves it.
I haven't found my vocation yet, but I have definitely considered the Dominicans in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and the Poor Clares of Perpetual Adoration (AL, AZ, TX). Gotta love the habits! ^_^
I'm also keeping an eye on the new order founded by Rosalind Moss in St. Louis. I was pretty excited when I heard Rosalind Moss explain their charism.

It's very hard for me to make backgrounds... in fact there's hardly a couple of drawings with background in my gallery... and yours are beautiful!

Aww thanks! Sometimes backgrounds can be a bit of a pain. And often very, VERY frustrating.

That's gorgeous. I love your lettering, and the style feels almost like Art Nouveau mixed with some Islamic influence. Beautiful piece!

You're welcome! I think you managed it very well, and I'd love to see more in that style.

Prettiful as usual! The wind-blown effect looks really realistic, I'm a bit jealous.
