I was sick with the flu this weekend so I had a bunch of time to draw Poison Ivy for the WSG at PencilJack as well as the Poison Ivy contest over at the great #ComicVixens group.Ignore all snot splatters you see in fullview

Love it! Her expression is just sinister and I adore how you drew her legs. For traditional art I'm also really impressed with how clean your lines are! Do you use a spray to keep the lead from smearing? I've always been curious how those work.

And nope I don't use spray since that can sometimes mess with how well you can erase stuff (as I do a lot of) and if you're using cheap paper (as I use a lot of). Usually I just use a folded sheet of paper to guard my arm/wrist so I won't smudge the pencils around as much and play around with the Photoshop levels window to try and hide the smudges and darken the contrast a bit.
But since I've been doing more pencil shading stuff, I should probably move over to better quality paper and start using a spray since those are more apt to smudging a lot :/

I'm not that much of a colorist and my Wacom's broken so I doubt that I'd color it myself, but I would love to have it colored by other people. :]
