Description
The battle was just reaching its end when we entered the city, there are only small pockets of resistance now and for the most part the streets are relatively safe. The unit's heading for positions north, a blocking maneuver I'm told, for whom, I do not know. Apparently we'll be passing by the Reichstag or whats left of it, if the endless traffic and shell holes allow. Some of the men have been heard complaining that we missed such a historic battle, but I believe I speak for most of us when I say we're just happy to have lived to see the end of this dammed war, all I think about now is going home.
