Love the poses. Have vague memories of the cartoon from when I was a kid, kinda an anime style Roobarb and Custard.

Personally Wowser and Ratso sound more catchy to me (though maybe it's due to that damn theme song).

I don't know if it got translated in English, but yes I recommend it. Lots of comedy in there. There are 39 books by the original artist Dupa. I didn't read the new versions (after Dupa passed away).

There have been a cartoon, known as Wowser in English : www.youtube.com/watch?v=CqNsjB…

Have some covers : www.google.fr/search?q=couvert…

Looks adorable.

"Cubitus" sounds like a much better name than "Wowser", which sounds like something Inspector Gadget would say

Indeed. "Cubitus" is also the French name of a bone, the ulna. Fitting for a dog

Oh that's what he is. And here I was thinking he was a polar bear (even though I should've noticed the whole bone motif )

Haha yeah, he does look like a polar bear, some people even call him that in the comic ^^

The cartoon was called Wowser in Denmark, While the comic strips was called Tordenskjold in magazines. The only album in Danish was called Fuzzy.

In the English version. The original version (the French one), he's named Cubitus.
