it was a great place - unfortunately there are only the outside walls left of this beautiful place - they tore down everything else and built a new building inside ...

That's a shame.
It's a sad reality that many interesting, abandoned places are torn down. But there are many places like this, and it would take a long time to get them all... thankfully.

Well that is unfortunate that this structure couldn't be re-purposed. I know with something with a lot of history, many times they try too keep it. What will be replacing it?
