I took Danny (=AgaetisByrjun32 )'s camera today and decided to try IR photography for my own. I think this was the best one out of the 5 or six I shot. I like the ghostly image I made while I sat on the picnic bench waiting to close the shutter again.Taken with Danny Askew's Digital Rebel XT w/ Canon 28-135 IS Ef-L Lens and a Tiffen IR filter. Let me know what you think.

Thank you...the funny thing is that it wasnt my camera! It was my friend Danny's! If you like IR, then check hime out (=AgaetisByrjun32 ) cause he's got some great ones.

Cool processing, but looks like you could use some color noise reduction - an easy, quick fix in Photoshop. Also, the bright bits of sky at the top are quite distracting, I'd try dodging them down some. Other than that you've got a pretty solid IR shot here I think. The way you seperated the sky and trees/ground works well, the colors are subtle, not distracting, and the ghost-you is a cool little hard-to-notice thing.

Yeah, its weird, because it looked great on my laptop monitor which had all this color correction crap on it and was doing that for me, but now that I uninstalled that idiot software, I see all of this that you mention. I will fix it at once.

I used a tripod! It was a 100 sec. exposure.
