Your camera data says you shot this at iso 1600? I'd love to know what you used to reduce the grain, it looks fairly sharp. I have the same camera your using, and I can't shoot this high without more grain showing up, I use the program that came with the camera. And its a real nice shot by the way.

yep! and i didn't use anything, all i did was edit, there is nothing that lowered the grain here.. however, when i do use it, i use adobe lightroom! you shoudl check it out!

I really like the depth of field here! I think it's pretty awesome how it makes the main subject matter stand out more, but it works really effectively too, I reckon.

The owl could be more focused, perhaps.. or sharper, but I like how there are so many different shades and how it's sort of complex with the markings and the different aspects here, if you get what I mean.

It's pretty effectively executed, all in all.

tnank you! yeah part of the reason for the focus is because i was in a a dark room shooting at 3200 iso, so it was hard to get good on that! but thank you! im glad you approve!

PS, thank you soo much for your oppinions on my photo's, i really do appreciate them, and sorry i havent answered sooner, i just have been really busy reecently!

this was at a state park near my house, and a lot of the others are either at my house, a park, or a zoo, or some otherplace where animals hang out!
