Jay: *Smiles* "Which would you like to be, a Quill or Finn? Do the skies or the seas call your name?"
Dexter: "What an interesting question," Dexter muses. "I don't quite see myself as either, really. I'm not the biggest fan of water, and I do prefer to keep my feet on the ground. The seas nor the skies have ever really called to me." He paused, a hint of a wry grin on his face. "Though I do have this excellent mohawk, and I'm quite adorably fluffy and rather tall and lithe, so I'm pretty sure I have a hint of imp in my lineage somewhere," he chuckles. "I quite simply wouldn't be me without my fur, so I couldn't possibly be Finn nor Quill. Even an imp would be a bit too unwieldy with how unnecessarily noodly they are. No, I'm quite happy to stay the way I am."

GOSH as much as I'd LOVE to just turn everybody into subspecies, I think Dex just suits standard too well. And he's got a good streak of pride in himself, so he's pretty happy with himself the way he is. Regardless, I want to draw a proper imp!Dexter just for fun someday. I don't think that uncolored doodle there is good enough, haha
