Description
From the floating continent Brume, this strange creature feeds on the hovering nodules that cover the landscape there.This allows the creature to "swim" just above the surface of the ground which makes it very fast and agile.
It is rumored the infamous killer, Pathraput uses one for a mount.

i also think that another cool aspect about the design is that it has its paralels with Tarkus ^^ It somehow seams like the organic couterpart of the ship :]

I'm working on Alice and Sheema, trying to do it freehand in ink so it might be a little scratchy.
It was such a trip, I noticed you already had an image of them in a similar situation.

That's great! I did a Sheema /Alice picture quite a long time ago and it's not very good, i intend to do some scenes of this, but i'm scared i'll mess it up.

I'm having fun with it. I was thinking if you ever just want to draw the characters interacting I could draw the background.
I realized as I was drawing Sheema's lab, that stuff is really easy for me. Maybe see if you like the look first. It's kinda like the movie "Brazil" tech.
Hey I was wondering If I could make someone about to rescue Alice. I was thinking it would be Ulrik right!
I was going to make at the entrance to Sheema's lab holding a gun about to bust in and save the day. Would it happen like that?
Also the idea of Dr. Sheema's receptionist has been really cracking me.
"Dr. Sheema's office, how can we hurt you....."

I have been thinking about Alice's rescue,it's far too dangerous to try and break into the lab, it's too well guarded as Sheema is a very important person. So Alice has to partially escape on her own since it's easier to get out than it is to get in.
Viva searches for people who will help her friend and finds Ulrik and his gang,they take her to the Vampire domain and scout it out. Cactusflower the Vampire can get Viva and Ulrik inside the city and that's when they find Alice and get her out.
I think this works better than trying to bust down the doors or something, they're just going to get shot and killed.
I love the idea of Sheema having a receptionist, and maybe a whole bunch of long suffering staff.

Well, dang, I already started drawing the guy at the door.
I wonder if it could be a failed rescue attempt. You know how heros sometimes take the stupid route before the learn their lesson. Probably wouldn't be Ulrik though? What about one of the idealistic eco warrior dudes?
That guy seemed cool though, you probably don't want to kill him off. Oh, maybe he gets captured and used for experiments. Or perhaps he's just spying. Gimme somebody to draw so I can work on it on my breaks today!
What's Sheema's motivation? Do the humans or vampires pay her?
Also it seems cool that the vampire domain (I really need to draw that!) is sort of a way into the city for the mutants.

I don't suppose it matters, maybe once their in they can take out some guards and steal their clothes as a disguise. At this point Ulrik and Alice do not know each other, Viva hears Alice scream and Ulrik goes to her rescue. That could totally work.
Sheema is a mysterious person, no one knows exactly where she came from or how she acquired her scientific knowledge. She works in the Vampire Domain but some of her work is for the human city and it's done in secret.

Ok, cool I really want to draw Ulrik.
So her lab is in the Vampire Domain, maybe Ulrik get's her out before the Count is alerted.
And of course Sheema doesn't get killed during the rescue.
Well, I think it'll be a neat little scene, maybe we can work out the details later.

This is kind of how i picture it from the outside, Sheema's lab is the building with the spire.
Sheema's experiment on Alice proves useful for creating a clone of Gini. She creates another version that is "cured" of it's extra arms, and sends this changeling back to the city to Gini's family.
The real Gini runs away with Snakeskin Salvation.
