Description
An A2 sized stencil of my thumbprint on an old plain black t-shirt. Made it a little abstract and the areas on my thumb that had wrinkles or didn't have enough pressure applied don't show up but it all adds to the effect. Done for a battle at Cut N Spray . Would probably be better to have a photo of it not being worn as here the sides curve round my body, hiding a lot of it's form.Graff will be back up in the next few days too, huzzah!

Ouch man, prints at the scene from you then? Thankfully I wear latex gloves, didn't know they really used fingerprint evidence for graffiti since it's usually in public spaces...

Nah it wasnt like that, I just learnt its better to paint alone in future. They did take prints and a swab but i dont think they realy care unless they find cans etc.

A good 10 hours in about 3 sittings.It's not that the cutting was difficult, it was all pretty easy, but it was a whole lot of pretty easy. When pretty easy starts ganging up, that's when it gets annoying, hahah.

Only one problem i see with this. You're doing all the work for the police. At least use a friends thumb or something. :-p Rad, though. I dig.

Yeah, be careful where you spray this... the smart cops will put you on record and the dumb ones will report that Big Foot is on the loose.

This might be detailed but the reliability of this in legal terms is bugger all. They do all sorts of measurements and comparisons and this stencil, however much I tried to stay close to my actual thumbprint, is not as detailed.
I'll be hanging it up though, not really wearing it since after washing the spray paint will fade that bit more...

Well stencilling a to scale stencil of my thumbprint would both be hard and pointless if I could just print my thumb onto it without a stencil
