Mmm, I really like how the 'water' came out, worked a treat!One of the pieces heading to the Bogota Stencil Art Festival . I only caught wind of this very late but a friend (cheers Andres!) is heading over there and offered to take some pieces for me.

Nah, smashed first and then painted. I think if I smashed it second, I'd damage and scratch the design too badly.
