Description So it's the 90th anniversary of the creation of one of the most iconic American cartoon characters: Mickey Mouse. What can be said about Mickey Mouse? The official ambassador for American Animation around the world, an icon for many children the main mascot for the power hungry, greedy money grabbing soon to overlords the Walt Disney Corporations? Aside from that Mickey has always been a rather bland character per say and when many see the first few seconds of his first cartoon Steamboat Willie they assume that oh it's just Mickey Mouse is just driving a boat..but no, that's not the case, it's only for the first few seconds. And I'll say this, but Mickey Mouse was an asshole in his early days. Don't believe me? Well in his first cartoon, he constantly abuses animals in order to make the melody for "Turkey in the Straw". Not to mention Mick was rather more mischievous, always getting to trouble and even would get back at those who wronged him..in an ironic twist he would characteristics similar to that of his future rival Bugs Bunny. That being said despite my said gripes with the characters. Mickey you may not be my favorite cartoon character but I respect ya for being a pioneer.

This could be the boat of any small boy.
But this boat happens to belong to a boy
called "Christopher Robin". But like many
small boys, Christopher Robin had toy animals
to play with.

One of them in particular is called Mickey Mouse.
Buuuut, we're not talking about him. Instead, we
are talking about his more interesting rival, Winnie
The Pooh.

However in this case the Mouse is having the spotlight over the silly old bear.
