Here we have the tick that truly came from the depths of Hell! Ticks are known for sucking blood and giving horrible diseases. However what separates this from other ticks is that this here is the Lone Star Tick! If this tick bites you it will make you allergic to red meat (Beef and pork) Now for people who don't regular eat red meat, this is not really much of a big deal. Yeah, I would to hate to be unable to eat meat. That is a scary bug! But I wonder why they cause such a reaction?

From what I've read there is something in their bite that just triggers that part of the body to be allergic to red meat.
