An idea based off the alternate ending introduced in Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin, with the Bearer of the Curse opting to side with Aldia, forsaking both the linking of the Fire and the advent of Dark, and striking out into the unknown to find another path. Aldia, in a more human shape, accompanies them here, seeing the first trace of hope in a long time, to bring an end to the cycle once and for all.
