Description
My first Bloodborne drawing in the gallery. I chose to depict the Keeper of the Old Lords, a boss of the Chalice Dungeons and immortal guardian of the labyrinth and the Great Ones slumbering within.

I wanted to try and reference the challenges this boss gave me the second time I fought him. The first fight, in the Central Pthumerian Labyrinth, was relatively straightforward, but the second, in the Cursed Pthumerian Defilement, was a different story. Besides being a high-level Chalice Dungeon, with an extremely high damage output from enemies, the cursed status of the dungeon means that the player's health bar is cut down by half, leaving very little room for mistakes, especially when it comes to the bosses. The Keeper's melee attacks are also extremely fast, with very little telegraphing, and are strong enough to kill the player in at least two hits, if not a single hit.
The Chalice Dungeons were an extreme challenge and I wanted to try and connote that here.
