Description Here we go!
I have coloured on my computer (using GIMP) me as a junior Pokemon field researcher!
I would like to draw all of your attention to the Pokegear. it was a PAIN to draw. admire it.
see the little Charmander on my notepad? i drew that too, and then shrunk it down and distorted it to fit. WIN!
i didn't use any textures on this picture, because i was trying to mimic the Pokemon "style" so it does look a little flat. let me know if you think anything other than that is lacking, however.

This is my overall final draft of what i would look like, because, well, this IS what i look like!

this took me FAR TOO LONG to colour because i have forgotten how. trial and lots of error.
i would LOVE some tips, etc, if you notice anything, i honestly could use all the help i can get. i use a TON of layers. like, 20-30 of them. *shifty eyes*

this is something i will probably be using in my DA Journal.

No you may not use this anywhere. this is a picture of ME.

you know what's funny? the "pokemon style" actually draws the girls SKINNIER than i do! ME! crazy!
i thickened myself out (bc this is SUPPOSED to be me and i'm not that skinny) but when looking at female pokemon characters (i looked at Dawn the most) my waist is HUGE in comparison. so, i have the Pokemon face-style down mostly, but as for the body, not as much, but probably all for the best. it has taken me years to draw a girl even THIS thick. to draw in the total pokemon style would be a complete regression. -_-

ITS TRUE...if you hacked off one of their legs and held it up to their torso it would disappear!

I think you have made leaps and bounds with your bodies! it IS an acceleration in drawing adults for you I think! your women are actually looking more and more grown up! (which is a challenge in any simplified style)

the way the pokemon style girls are shaped is kinda strnage- their suppose to be young girls but you would think their adults ( especially looking at the rack of May...whom I hated) they have thick legs, twig arms, a skinny waist and big hips/bums. the adult women are the same way only minus the twig arms. ( and with obviously bigger chests)

this body? in terms of weight looks average- which is where you wanna be because in art it's almost impossible to show subtle weight differences. even pokemon style didn't have much difference for their trainers who were usually young kids and teenagers there was "average" ( childhood scrawny, like misty) and really fat ( like that ninja trainer boy from the kanto series, I forget his name) the adults had SLIGHTLY more variation but not much, nealry all the men were sturdy like a brick house ( tracy, prof oak, brock) and all the women were curvy sex pots ( Jessie, officer jenny )

I think your better off with this hybrid style needless to say! you can do way better then pure poke style so why go down a peg?

You have improved SO very much. ^_^
I really don't know how to critique your work anymore. I try and all I see is the amazing attention to detail.
From all the little details on things like the pokedex and pants and such, to the fact that you can clearly see and well-drawn Charmander on her page. That's just WICKED!! ^_^

Pepper is epic win.^_^
