I didn’t like this. I didn’t like it one bit. (Name) was in the hospital. She was in the hospital. Some idiot drunk driver hit her. She was lucky enough to come out with only a broken arm. The bad part was she’s been out for two days now. They said today she’d wake up but it was near noon and she wasn’t awake.

I hated seeing her with all those machines hooked up to her, all those wires and IVs. I never wanted to see her like that. I wish I could have been there with her when it happened. Then I could have saved her.

For the most part I was on the edge of her bed like a little Growlithe. I kept my head and arms on the bed by her but say in the chair next to her bed. The doctors and nurses tried to get me to go home but I never left even as much as they yelled at me. I couldn’t leave (Name) like this. She was in such a fragile state of hers.

Her face was now pale and her hair seemed to lose its color. Her heartbeat on the monitor put me to sleep a few times. Just knowing she was okay made me rest okay but I wanted to make sure she was out of here as fast as she could be. I didn’t like her in pain nor did I like how I couldn’t do anything to help her, so I stayed by her side.

She moved and I got hope for her to wake up. “R-Red,” she said in her sleep. I perked up. She said my name in her sleep? Why? She never knew I was here. She didn’t even know I liked her. No, that’s not it. I loved (Name). All I did was think about her.

I loved when she visited me or I visited her. She was the most entertaining person I knew. She was also the sweetest, kindest and smartest. She was perfect inside and out. She was one of the most beautiful women I knew as well.

Though I thought she liked Green more than me. She was always with him. Then again she did work at his grandfather’s lab. He always flirted with her so I thought she liked him. And not a mute like me. Why would she like a man with freaky red eyes and never spoke who was up on a mountain all the time? Most people called me creepy and hated me or were afraid. They only wanted to surpass me and want me to be a model for them.

(Name) was never like that. She saw me. We could talk without me talking. I mean I couldn’t anymore. After I won the pokémon master title and stayed up there for five years I lost my voice. I liked how I could be myself with her and she could be herself with me. She let me crash at her place when Green and I’d fight. Sometimes she even forgot I was there and just what she normally did. She knew exactly how to make me blush. She wore this cute (favorite color) night gown with black lace on the top and bottom and it was poka dotted and it made me blush every time she wore it. Then she’d always run to cover herself up in a cute little fluster of her being nervous.

As of late she’s been taking me food to last a week of home cooked meals, so I was well fed now. She came ever Saturday at noon for lunch and then left at seven. That way it wasn’t too dark before she got home. It was on her way home from seeing me that she got hurt. I had found out because I followed her to give her back her Pokégear that she dropped and accidently left up there.

I sat beside her now and rubbed her cheek. A feint smile creped on my face. She was so cute. She was somewhat more conscious now since now she just looked like she was asleep. I saw her asleep a lot, even more so in these three days, but this time it was different.

I leaned down and put my forehead on hers. I stared down at her eyes wishing to see those (eye color) orbs to stare back at me. My raven hair against her pale skin made a difference. I looked down at her lips. They were so plum and pale than they normally were as well. They always looked so soft and warm. With her being asleep I wanted to know if I was right.

I kissed her and closed my eyes. I held the bed beside her and then kissed her softly. Her lips were soft but they were cool. I loved them. They were another perfect thing about her. I backed off and she was still asleep. I guess I wasn’t the prince of her dreams like in all those movies or I did it wrong. So I went in to kiss her again and then I moved into her mouth. Her mouth was so sweet but a little dry. I messed with her tongue and I soon felt arms go around my neck and head.

(Name) was awake now. She messed with my hair softly pulling it and I kissed a little harder as she moaned. I smiled and backed off. I stared in her misty (eye color) eyes and smiled again. She was a cute little mess.

“That’s quite an awakening you have,” she says and I laughed a little. Well as much as a mute could.

I went and typed, “It was mixed with a max revive.” She giggled and I smiled again.

“You’re so cute, Red. I’m happy the first thing I see is you,” she says and I blushed. She tried to sit up but I lightly pushed her back down and shook my head no. “Alright I won’t get up but could you get me something to drink?” I did as she wanted and then put the water back on the table. “Thank you. How long have you been here anyway?”

I then typed, “The entire time. I never left you. Not for a second.”

“R-Really?” She blushed. I nodded and she blushed even more. “T-Thank you, Red. You’re a great friend.” I just kissed her and we’re still only friends? “But I want you to be more than that,” she said. I tilted my head curiously. “I want you to be my boyfriend,” she smiled.

I blushed and then went to type, “So do I. I love you, (Name).” She blushed on reading that.

“I love you too, Red.”

I went to kiss her again but it was short and passionate. She messed with my hair again and grabbed it. I guess she loved that I wasn’t wearing my hat.

A few weeks after that she let me stay at her house to help take care of her. I like it. I got to see her all day and even went to work with her. I made sure she didn’t lift anything but she helped with washing the pokémon and feeding them. I didn’t want her to do too much. I guess I was a little paranoid and took over a lot for her. I just didn’t want her to get hurt again.
