Hell, it's about time.Subliminal StarCraft 2 Advertisement
I started this back in December 06, and It's taken me this long to finish. PROCRASTINATORS UNITE!!!...Tomorrow.
I was actually making a tutorial on this, but I figured that it wouldn't be good to teach you my bad habits. SO THERE! σ_σ
Anyways, if you have a beautifully huge monitor and want to set this as your desktop image with minimal pixelation, hit download. (Check the comments later to see how many people didn't read this.)

how did you make it look real.
i tryed to figure out how to lay shadows. but i failed. so how do you do it in flash.
did you use only flas 8

I used lots of gradients, and picked the colours straight from the source picture. In places where a single gradient wouldn't be good enough, I created a second gradient on a new layer (or in a group on the main layer), and cut/masked it to be the right shape. Also, Alpha-transparency is awesome
For this project, I started in Flash 8, but took so long that I was using CS3 by the time I finished.

It's not really my favorite looking BMW out there... actually I dislike the car a lot, but you make it look super sexy. Good going.

It's one of my favorite BMW's. Then again, I'm not a big BMW fan. I did it because I wanted to finish something that I started. Don't ask why I started though

The car vectors section is pretty much dead now. Everyone is doing Vexels. I'm hoping to finish some stuff that's been sitting on my harddrive for like a year now, and maybe even start doing some new stuff.
Just gotta fix my mouse first. >;(
It keeps double-clicking for no reason, so that makes it really hard to work in Flash, lol. I'm getting pretty close to finishing that NSX that I've been too lazy to work on for the last year. It will be x5 better than my Lotus Exige vector. ;D
