I was sifting through my gallery updating my thumbnails, and I realised this one had no vector version...until now!Wallpaper - [link]
Here's the original pic I drew over .
It took me about 10 hours in Flash 8.
When I was making the tail light, laziness prevailed...so I did a bitmap trace, and it turned out better that I could've done myself!
And finally...Enjoy

I cheated >_< Auto Trace. It pulled out all the details better than I ever could.

Because at the time I didn't really know what it was, and even now I'm not that fluent in it. That'll probably change later this year.

Nice work. I wouldn't mind a bitmap trace for a shortcut, but I'm so goddamm anal when it comes to vector art.

I mean, I'd still do the tracing by hand, regardless if it's tedious. Anal. It's really more of a bad trait than a good one, because i sometimes waste time doing the tedious stuff rather than getting it done fast.

nice view. But man... you'll never get any better if you get lazy!! Gotta do every detail, every color change, all down to the exact reflections. Trust me, you will feel MUCh more proud of your work after you've just about broke your mouse becuase of the pen tool

Yep, it's an earlier piece, and I was beginning to develop skills which I still use now. I do feel a bit guilty about it, but I'm just going to leave it alone and move on. BTW, did you know this was made in Feb, but I've only just submitted the vector now?

It's where you tell the computer to turn a raster image like a photo into a vector one. The results are usually pretty crappy, So I prefer not to use it. It wasn't too bad this time though.
