Giving some love to my forgotten O.C.s. This is Empress. Her hair is supposed to be black, but I kinda like this better. Practicing my coloring. Worked on this on and off for the last two days.Name: Empress

Thanks so much. I'm trying to teach myself that not everything needs to be blended out smoothly. I've got a long ways to go. I want to be oodles better. I've made so much progress in the time I've been back on DA.
That hair took so long to draw and line. I was hating myself halfways through lining that braid. Pppffttt.
I actually took the time to make a swatch layer and it helped me color this so much flipping faster. Hah. Not lazy. Trying to do pallets instead of pulling random color out of thin air.
Hey hey. That marker brush and a tutorial on how to make a good smudge brush has changed my life. O -O I used to hate how smudging looked and would gradient out my colors by hand. Pppppffftttt.
