Foxglove can be grown (or tolerate) both sunny/shady areas. In my State, I am able to enjoy the bloom from end of April all the way through Nov. I have a vast range of colors. They are hardy and quite easy to transplant. I have white, pink, yellow and light purple.
Bleeding hearts, the blooms peaks around Easter. My plants are planted in an ideal shady location, they are doing still wonderfully in my garden. I have white, pink and red bleeding hearts. I've posted a few photos prior. You can see them in my flower folder.
I am not sure...but I hope I answered your "wondering". That was just a silly poem I came up with...anyways yeah...

I have bleeding hearts myself in pink i always clip off each flower when they wither. It usually gives me a second bloom a week or 2 later
I tried fox gloves myself i think my soil is to damp ( it used to be so bad you would get stuck if you stood in 1 place to long )
I could plant them each year since they never came back.
now i admire the ones my neighbours grow XD
( i can have hostas that dont get eaten by slugs and snails they cant XD )

Foxglove can be easily replanted if you simply cut the new growth from the main branch, replant. In a few months you have a new foxglove plant. So easy.
There are hundreds of remedies on how slugs/snails pest control. Just google it. No one should have to live with this problem (because this is a simple problem). Lastly, anyone can have a beautiful garden, regardless the garden size. Use the web to help you to build a beautiful garden. That's what I do!
