Description The Prince's face had gone very still at my words. I sensed a sudden distancing in him but could not percieve the cause until he asked Quietly, "your 'own boy'?" His inflection puzzeled me. "My foster son, Hap. He is apprenticed to a woodworker in buckkeep town."
"Oh." The single word seemed to fade into the silence.
Then, "I did not know you had a son."

Haha.. You're right.. I often have trouble picturing characters just how Hobb said... For instance, I can never quite see Kennit with a mustache. :/

Haha and I can't really picture Fitz with beard, even though he had it quite often.

Ha ! Dutiful ! I was wondering when you would do him... Love your depiction of him. Nice clothes, too.
This scene was so strange...

It was a touching scene. Dutiful was acting like a real youngster, despite how mature he can seem officialy at court. Dawww.
And how weird it must be for Fitz, listening to his son by blood acting jelous when he hears about Fitz's foster son, and not being able to tell him what Dutiful actually is to Fitz.

Is the outfit inspired by late Elizabethan era fashions?
