Description
The second of my Moth Fairy series! This one also features a little grape hyacinth plant. I'm very happy with her expression and the way she's gently running her fingertips through her hair.Playing with transparency has been delightful!

The luna moth is one of the few bugs I'm not afraid of. None that I've seen were this pretty, though! ^_^

I was one of those kids who stared at ants and beetles, starting back from well before I can remember. My grandma still tells me stories about that from time to time! Fortunately, I'm still pretty pragmatic when it comes to bugs - I'm not a fan when they do a surprise-landing on me or bite/sting, but I otherwise leave them be (and maybe still watch them, if it strikes me to do so).
I wish I'd seen a luna moth, though! They seem so graceful. I live in a city, so most of the moths I've seen thus far are the small white kind.

They're enormous - at first you might think you'lre seeing a bat or a birtd, and then you notice it's a beautiful pale green. They seem to have a calmness about them that most moths don't posess, too. Truly regal. <3

I really adore this lovely piece! My only suggestion would be for you to add a little more color to her, to match a luna moth's colors (dark pink on the wing edges, around the eyes, under the chin, and on lower arms/legs, plus golden antenna and gold on the eyespots of the wings, etc.)...Otherwise, she's perfect!

I think it was by the 'art nouveau' tag. I'm an art nouveau lover...
Don't worry! I love wandering round other people's galleries... sometimes i just can't help favouriting... my favs aren't just drawings i like... I favourite many pieces just so that the author knows that he's doing a good job and go on with it
But I like commenting and seeing art from people whose art i like... you, for instance
