I could shoot myself for not doing this when he died, but that wasn't really my best moment. It's only the second time in my life I knew my dad cried. Jake was taken from us by anal cancer, as many of you guys may know from your own experiences with cancer whether your own or a loved one...I don't guess you really pick a way to go....but this was one of the hardest things I think I've ever seen, his last moments still haunt me. I really don't think people wanna know how I found him...he was alive....but the only thing I can think to explain it was...he was a zombie, and I don't mean it to be funny.

Jake was the most stable thing in my life, always there, always smiling. Even as he drove away with my dad till the end....he really liked car rides, they made him happy.

Life will never be the same without you Grandpa.
