Description
I wanted to challenge myself by making a large piece, including a background with loads of details. (I tend to be too lazy to ever finish such thing, but I had to push my self on this one). My girl came with the idea of drawing a full classroom including all kinds of different children.I'm pretty pleased with the final result. I wanted this to be brightly coloured and with a happy feel to it.
This was made in Illustrator CS5 using pen tool only, after sketching in Photoshop.

I love the cute teddy!
Kinda reminds me of the style Sega used for the DeamEye, I think it was. Or some box thing related to that. A bit of an odd thing to mention, I suppose, but that's what I thought of.

I dunno....I always sat at the back because I didn't like the feeling of someone behind my back. Besides, I was always drawing something during the lessons. Up to the point the teachers left me alone and didn't say anything against it.

I really like the angle you've chosen. Although it's set a bit high, when looking at the picture I feel like the new teacher who is introduced to the class by the school director LOL - and I'm so glad I am not the new teach, some of the kids look rough to deal with XD
I just started to use Illustrator myself and this illustration gives me a lot of inspiration to try out more difficult designs myself
